The political cartoon shown is clearly being used to announce that Black Americans are inhuman people who are harming others with Obama’s approval. The man in the cartoon is trying to make a false statement by saying its Obama’s fault that all these hideous actions are occurring. By stating “white kid beaten on school bus” and “Obama’s America” it is clear that in fact the smoking man is saying everything is Obama’s fault. However through analyzing the cartoon one could state that the people blaming Obama are ignorant, uncaring, impatient people. One could make that assumption by looking at the man who has painted the black in the cartoon, because he smoking his is clearly in a rush-therefore impatient, and only a severely rude person would make a statement like such. So clearly this cartoon goes both ways, you could state that this cartoon is trying to show how some see everything that occurs to be Obama’s fault, or you could state that the people making these false assumptions about Obama are rude, ignorant people.
